I finally got around to sorting out how to fix the blog. All it took was a little competition to get this block posted in time!

BOTM May 2009

I also got some great mail today! I’m participating in the Wee Tiny Sock Swap this year over at Yarn Miracle. I’d actually completely forgotten that it was happening for a bit and then I got email with my assignment! I had a great time knitting her sock and dutifully dropped it off at the Post Office on Monday. Gosling was absolutely fascinated by the process and has eagerly awaited the mail every day since after hearing that someone else was going to be sending -me- a sock, too.

I saw the envelope in today’s mail, but I waited for him to get home from school before opening it (then I had to wait for him to wake up since both kids fell asleep on the long 2 mile journey home). He was very excited about opening mail and loved the sock almost as much as I do! I also got a gorgeous card with origami wind-twirler-thingies. I forget the technical name. He loved spinning the spinners (that’s it, spinners!) and I love my sock! Cindy even crocheted a hanging loop for me! Thank you, Cindy!

I’ll try to take pictures tomorrow when it’s brighter out.
