What She Shovels

There’s a strange warp zone on Highway 50. Time does not flow linearly. Two weeks ago, I left for work at 5am and arrived to work at 6:30. Last week, I left at 5:30 and arrived at 7:30. Today, I left at 5, stopped to get gas, effectively leaving town at 5:10 and arrived at 6:50. The earlier I leave, the quicker I get to work. When I left at 5:30, I did notice an appreciable amount of traffic that is not there when I leave at 5, but it didn’t seem to slow me down. I know I drive fast, but I didn’t realize it was warp fast.
