June's Finished Block
I guess it’s technically May’s block, but it’s finished in June. I cut out the pieces several weeks ago, but they’ve sat in my bag, awaiting a fire to be lit under them. I got them out earlier this afternoon and was sewing them together, but then nap time was over and life happened.
Given the events of the past week, bedtime’s been a little hairy around here and I might have abandoned finishing the block, despite the contest with Amy and Ashley, but SOMEone had to go and taunt me. And that’s just going to egg my competitive spirit on. So, I sacrificed an hour of sleep and got it done!
In doing so, I got to hear the crash down the street. Two guys hit a parked car, then actually ran, leaving the car in the middle of the road with the doors open. They managed to take their cases of beer with them, though. No one was hurt, but they did hit a brand new car. What a couple of idiots!

I know you have had a tough week, but I am glad you got to your block and are going with us.
Oh, and how do I miss all this excitement?!? LOL! Left the car. How funny!

I think you totally deserve a prize for finishing the block this month! You like tos hear crashes? Spend a little time on my street. Sigh.
