I’ve seen a bunch of different stores do this promotion. It’s a sure-fire way to get you in the store on a monthly basis, so even if they’re handing out free fabric scraps they’re likely to make money on the deal. I’m on to them, though!
The particular store she’s going to is Cozy Cottage in Brea.

Well, she doesn’t give them to the shop, she just shows them that they’ve been completed. And then she gets the next month of goodies. If you don’t finish your block or take it in, you gotta pay $5 for the materials for the month.

I don’t get it. She trades in the completed blocks? What becomes of them then? I’m confoozled!
The blocks so far look lovely. I must learn to quilt!
