To dot or not to dot…
I finished hand appliqueing the basket. Well, maybe. The pattern calls for big yellow dots in the middles of each of the flowers, but I think it looks hinky. But I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been looking at it for so long without the dots and that’s what I’m used to or if it really is hinky. I took it to a quilt guild meeting on Tuesday and everyone there said to add the dots, but they were all working on the same pattern and I didn’t feel like I was getting an objective opinion. I’ve put up pictures of the finished block and then the block with the proposed dots. Pretend they’re actually round, though.
To dot or not to dot, I ask.

Well, you weren’t supposed to read that between the time I typed it up downstairs and ran upstairs to upload the pictures. Of course, I didn’t mean to get sidetracked. They should be there now, though.
I guess people do read this

I would add the dots – it does look a tad unfinished without them, imo.
And if you hate them, you can always take them off again.

I am sneaky like that.
I think I would add the dots. It will be good practice too!

Yes, Diane is sneaky.
I join in with the opinion that you should add the dots.

Ok, ok, ok. I got my circle templates finally and I’m rarin’ to go and add me some dots. I’ll post another picture when they’ve been adhered.
